La Casèrma (EN)

🔊 Play Barracks, also called “Ca Granda” (Big House). It once housed several families. The date 1550 is engraved on the vaulted portal towards Gorda. Ancient Trivulzio barracks, characterized by a long neoclassical south facing front with frescoes and a wooden balcony, the representative front ending in a tympanum towards the street below. The 4-storey building dates back to the 16th century.
